“ My wife and I have been their customers for a few years. It occurred to me that we should not keep Legend of Taste a secret. Most of all, we enjoyed quite a few dishes here, starts with Pork Wonton in Red Oil - medium spicy. I am not very fond of spicy food, but on occasion, I gave in since my wife just loved spicy food, and she can take it to the extreme. I am just glad that she always asked for minimum spicy then add hot pepper chili sauce on the side, but not here at LoT. I ate it the way they cook their dishes. Next is Shredded Pork with String Bean - medium spicy, this is my all-time favorite, a spicy level I can accept. Beware! because I have to have at least 2 bowls of white rice with it. It is that good! Last visit we ordered the Mongolian Beef - very spicy, it was a pleasant surprise for us. The taste was excellent, especially when the outside temperature was freezing cold. The food kept us warm and toasty. There are other dishes that are pretty stable, same as most other typical Hunan or Szechuan Chinese restaurant. But I would recommand to try at least one new dish every time we visit, I am confident that we would be happily intrigued. Staffs are very nice, helpful people, seems that they enjoyed serving us and very engaging. The restaurant space is nice and comfy, not cramp at all. Beware that they do close on Tuesdays, so sad that I had to go elsewhere to get my fix. ”

“ I finally tried this place and it did not disappoint. We ordered chicken wings, pork dumplings, general tso chicken and chicken with broccoli. Everything was delicious and the dumplings were probably the best I ever had. Delivery was fast and they got the order right which I appreciate. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star was that the chicken with broccoli was a tad bland. I will keep ordering from here for sure and I can't wait to try other dishes. ”

This time we got take-out; been ordering from Legend for years, they never make a mistake. Got a bunch of dumplings, boneless pork ribs, shredded pork with bamboo and extra rice. So much food for the money, so friendly... everything packed carefully, containers nicely labeled! A fresh and delicious meal with plenty of leftovers for the weekend. The chef is on point, and has been known to accommodate special requests. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem. ”

“ I ordered a few dishes from here on Saturday afternoon for a total of 11 people. The online ordering made it very easy to put in the order and choose either pickup/delivery. There are many different dishes to choose from. We ordered the following dishes for 11 people and still had leftovers. 2 Scallion pancakes (8 pieces each), 3 little juice pork buns (4 pieces each) (soup dumplings), beef with mixed vegetable, sesame chicken, bok choy with black mushrooms, jumbo shrimp with walnut, shrimp fried rice, vegetable pan fried noodles, steamed fish fillet with ginger and scallion, and hot and sour soup (small). Each of the entrees came with white rice as well. Our total was about $169. We even got a discount ordering online since it was over a specific amount. All the food was very flavorful and delicious. All the guests were surprised by how big the jumbo shrimp was and there was vermicelli in the steamed fish fillet dish. The soup dumplings had very flavorful juice in the dumpling. Some restaurants food would be very salty, but this one was not. Definitely try this place! ”
